The Stanwick Group of Churches
The Stanwick Group of Churches is a united benefice (i.e. a group of parishes all looked after by one priest or group of clergy) which comprises the Church of England parishes of Forcett, Aldbrough St. John and Melsonby in beautiful, rural North Yorkshire within the Diocese of Leeds
The picture shows Stanwick St John church which gives the benefice its name but is now a redundant church vested in the Churches Conservation Trust.
You will find a map showing the location of each church on that church's page. If you want to widen the map area to include all the churches/villages in our benefice then use the map for Stanwick St John which is located almost at the centre.
There are also links to other sites of interest including the village web-sites for some of the villages in our benefice on the Links page
