The school at Eppleby is the last of the three Church of England Primary Schools in the benefice. It is now part of a federation with Middleton Tyas C of E PS which children from Aldbrough and Stanwick have attended since the school there closed in 1989.
Eppleby-Forcett is now a specialist site for the earliest years of schooling, including the Eppleby Pre-School which originally met in the village hall but is now accomodated in and has become an integral part of the school.
